Description

Waldron’s version of We Gather Together opens in a prayerful manner with flowing chords and finishes in a regal manner with full chordal ringing. The handbell part for this tender treatment of the traditional Thanksgiving hymn stands alone. However, if the instrumentalists are available, they will add a marvelous vibrancy and resonance to the performance. Instruments include 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 B♭ clarinets, 2 bassoons, and double bass. The instrument parts are included as a pullout in the full score and may be reprinted for performance purposes.
