Description

This addition to the Raleigh Ringer’s Series is from “The Red Poppy” by Gliere. The texture is light, open and, of course, dance-like. Rhythms are straightforward but go by at a fast clip, so counting is the key. Some chromatic passages will also present a challenge. This arrangement is playable by 4,5,6 or 7 octaves – a feat in transcribing!
