For the fourth volume of her “Ring With Six” series, Linda has arranged five more Advent and Christmas songs for small ensemble of 6. Each piece is 2 pages long (no page turns) and all are scored in the treble clef. Directors should feel free to adapt these pieces to any number, although they are arranged for 6 ringers. The writing in this set is fresh, creative, and rhythmic — and will immediately engage the musicians as well as the congregation. The songs are: Come Thou Long Expected Jesus; Comfort, Comfort Now My People; O Come, Emmanuel; Once in Royal David’s City; Rise Up Shepherd and Follow.
