Reperqussio (pronounced reh-per-cue-see-o), is rebounding, reverberating sound. With an abundance of LV’s, Marts, Mart Lifts, Echoes, the innovative KC (Klocken Carta) technique, and an occasional gong, this piece is definitely full of rebounding and reverberating sounds. Commissioned by the Raleigh Ringers for the 2007 Capital Area Young Ringers Festival, this composition is guaranteed to be fun to ring. The intriguing melody moves along at a bright pace, making “Reperqussio” a delight for ringers and audience alike. This piece is written in f minor and is 67 measures.
