Description

Sub-titled, “Dance Rondo,” this original composition has about it that air of a stately celebration. The lowered 7th of the key is used extensively as are eighth-note rhythms in the melody, which is more sound texture that linear movement. A variety of techniques are called for, but not overdone. The ending is big and bold and bright and reflects the true meaning of the title.
