Description

The John Goss tune, LAUDA ANIMA, is the source of this majestic arrangement for 2-3 or 3-6 octaves which is appropriate throughout the church year. Beginning with a fanfare introduction, the first stanza is presented in a powerful, straight-forward style. Two softer, more flowing stanzas are next, featuring LV accompaniments, a treble counter-melody, the tune in the middle range, and an eighth note obbligato. A crescendo leads into the fanfare sounds of the introduction and a brilliant, shimmering conclusion.
