Moonlight Lullaby” is a wide-spreading and well-known Canton (Guangdong) nursery rhyme that mothers will sing to their babies during bedtime. It displays the typical daily life of a Chinese fishing/farming family, the wishes of babies’ health and peace from the parents to the newborns and the hope for a bumper harvest in the New Year.
