Description

Commissioned for the 1999 Arkansas State Festival for 3, 4 or 5-octaves, this original work is well-suited for mass ringing. The melody moves along and uses some slight syncopation. The tune is also found in varying registers, giving all the ringers some equal time. The rhythm, eighth-quarter-eighth, is used to unify the work and appears in the melody and in the accompaniment. A flowing section of LV with a marking or ANDANTE RUBATO follows the opening ALLEGRO section.
