Mallets on tabled bells start the pulse going in the lower bell accompaniment, while the melody speaks out from the treble. After a key change the music relaxes a bit with flowing eighth-note accompaniment in the treble with melody in the middle register. The original material returns with a big flourish in the three ending measures.
