Description

The traditional English carol is set here with differing accompaniment figures–chordal, treble, ostinato, and moving bass line. Other special techniques and articulations are scored in both the melody and the accompaniment. The music builds through two keys to a final “maestoso” section, which ends with a mart chord in measure 79. This piece is the latest in the Raleigh Ringers Series for advanced ensembles.
