Description

This arrangement is a unique combination of two compositions by Michael Praetorius. The energetic outer sections of the piece are a transcription of Psallite, a choral motet. The quieter middle section is an arrangement of Est ist ein Ros (Lo How a Rose), which is punctuated with soft melodic fragments from Psallite played with mallets on suspended bells. Exercises to help ringers accomplish various ringing technicalities are offered on the back cover of the music.
