  “Divenire”, or Become, was composed for the Youth Track of the 2016 International Handbell Symposium in Vancouver, Canada. It begins with an adagio tempo and a plaintive melodic line. Later, the addition of mallets, mart-lifts, an energetic tempo, and sudden dynamic changes create a sense of urgency that persists to the final measure. 124 measures. Key of d minor.
