Brighten your Christmas concert series with this outstanding piece for Bell Tree – or a ringing duet! Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy, carefully transcribed from Tschaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, is a holiday classic that sparkles as a 3 oct. medium-difficult Bell Tree Solo (or handbell duet). A piano accompaniment score (also medium difficulty) is included in the score. Both parts are reproducible by original purchaser. The Bell Tree part requires A5-C7 bells (with optional either D5-G#5 bells or D5-F6 chimes). Rolled chords from piano to ringer mimic the iconic celeste part, however this section can be played entirely by the piano if desired. An optional repeat extends the 1:30 performance to 2:30. As an alternative to the included piano score, a compatible L4 “accompaniment score” using a full 3-5 oct. bell choir (minus B6C7) is also available in a separate folio (RE5010C).
