Description

Level 3 • Two hymn tunes are combined into a moving and glorious arrangement for Palm Sunday, Lent, Holy Week, or Easter. The PASSION CHORALE is presented in a gentle and flowing manner, using an LV bass accompaniment. Optional handchimes in the bass and middle ranges then play J.S. Bach’s harmonization with lightly malleted eighth notes in the upper treble bells. A transition using both tunes grows into a brilliant fanfare, leading into a majestic, triumphant rendition of “Crown Him with Many Crowns,” and the fanfare returns to conclude the work.
