Description

Optional chimes (3-6 octaves) join with the bells in performing this original composition written in memory of one who loved handbells. Flowing eighth-note passages in Andante tempo open this work in Common Time. Following is a lively section in 6/8 meter complete with mallets. Chimes appear after a change back to 4/4 and lend their peaceful ambiance.
