Description

“Ave Verum” is a short Eucharistic hymn dating from the 14th century. It has been set to music by various composers but Mozart’s rendition is perhaps the best known of all. With a slow tempo, no sixteenth notes, very few eighth notes and no key changes, this 46-measure piece is easy enough that even a novice should be able to accomplish ringing it. A nice addition to the repertoire of an experienced ringer, it can quickly be effectively rung with relative ease. It is set in D Major.
