Jason has combined two favorite hymn tunes into a lovely setting. BEECHER, written by John Zundel and SAGINA, by Thomas Campbell, are both most familiar as the musical setting for two of Charles Wesley’s lovely hymns. These favorites feature nicely placed malleted notes, a creative inter-twining of the two hymn tunes using both hand chimes and bells, plus LV passages supporting the melodies. A well-crafted segue to a key change from C major to F major sets the stage for a dynamic yet peaceful ending. This is a gorgeous setting that will be a perfect addition to your hymn tune repertoire.
