Description

An easy syncopated accompaniment pattern highlights the plaintive melody of “Wayfaring Stranger.” The incorporation of “Come, Ye Sinners, Poor and Needy” provides a change of mood and a reminder of the destination of our pilgrimage, before the triumphant return of the original tune diminishes to a tranquil close. Although basic techniques are used throughout, both bass and treble ringers will find much of interest. It is appropriate for use throughout the church year.
