The 16th century English ballad is scored for double choir of 3, 4 or 5 octaves of handbells and 2-3 octaves of handchimes. The chime part is easier than the bell part, making this piece a good choice for combining two groups of differing ability levels. An original theme serves as an introduction, interlude, and ending for this richly harmonized arrangement.
