A malleted accompaniment line supports the tunes throughout this quartet arrangement of three American folk hymns. Ringers read off a grand staff with directions for individual ringers. Each tune is presented singly, and the final part combines two of the tunes against an ostinato bass-line. Optional chimes may be used in one section. 73 measures in length, this setting is scored in F Major.
