Published in 1992, Karen Buckwalter has created a piece that is truly reminiscent of a town of bell towers. Large, strong chords are paired with bass chorded arpeggios. M 49 starts rolling triplets, in arpeggiated form and the piece finally ends as it began, with large, strong chords. A difficult, but beautiful piece.
